Enciso Systems is building the Ground Station Complex, a next-generation facility designed to position Colombia as a strategic hub for satellite communication and data operations in the Americas.
Strategic Infrastructure for Global Operations
At the heart of the complex stands an 8-meter high-precision antenna capable of telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) for satellites in LEO, GEO, and cislunar orbits.
Its flexible architecture allows for multi-mission support, remote operation, and network integration with international ground station networks.
The Mission Control Center, equipped with 25 operator seats, provides a scalable platform for mission management, training programs, and commercial satellite operations.
A 2-megawatt Data Center complements this ecosystem, ensuring redundant storage, secure data processing, and AI-based analytics for Earth observation and space science missions.
To ensure full autonomy and cost efficiency, the facility is powered by a 4-megawatt solar farm, achieving energy self-sufficiency and minimizing operational expenses over time.
